Anything mechanical can fail, and when it does it typically causes downtime or process upset. SEER Controls can help troubleshoot and hopefully get you back online quickly. Every situation is different when it comes to a failure in a control system. Keeping the last statement in mind I would like to provide a list of tips for fast response:

• Do your best to keep spare equipment on hand for critical components; sometimes overnight shipping doesn't cut it.

• Keep up to date digital backups of all SCADA projects, PLC programs, or anything that has custom configuration. This is VERY important for fast response time.

• Understand that systems are unique, if an integrator visits a site for the first time during an emergency it can drastically slow down response time.

• Keep records of all credentials and passwords needed for software-based equipment. This is VERY important, and SEER Controls will always provide credentials to the client for any work performed.
